By unusual, I mean foods that are not common in your country/area/culture.
I for example live in the UK, so foods like Beef, bacon, chicken are all the norm but something like balut would be unusual or even unheard of by most other Brits.
Anyway to the point: Which foods, that are unusual or uncommon to your country/culture, would you like to try, consider trying or perhaps even have tried?
For me I haven't tried anything that isn't normal for an Englishman
Dog Meat: As shocking as it maybe, dog meat is something I would like to try once. I wouldn't eat someone's pet, but if I was ever in a country such as Beijing where dogs are bred for food, I would consider trying it.
Cat Meat: Same as dog meat.
Frog's legs: I honestly don't know. I probably would try it if offered.
Escargot: No, just no.
Grubs, insects, arachnids etc.: I would rather starve.
Balut: No. I'm very much a visual and picky person when it comes to food and balut puts me off by what it looks like.
Haggis: Something a little closer to home, but still a no.
Human: Eek. The big no-no for most cultures. But in truth, I wouldn't mind trying a bit of human flesh (cooked) so long as the person died of natural (non-illness/disease) causes. Curiosity is a powerful thing.
